Alcohol

Fans may not bring alcoholic beverages into or out of the ballpark.

Guests purchasing alcohol at Chili Peppers games must show proof of legal drinking age.

Sales of beer and alcohol end after the first pitch of the 8th inning.

The Chili Peppers reserves the right to deny the sale of alcoholic beverages.

Animals

No pets or animals of any kind are allowed in the park, with the exception of documented service animals or on specified dates.

Attire

Obscene or indecent clothing is not allowed on park property.

No shirt, No shoes, No service. Noncompliance with this rule may result in removal from the ballpark.

Autographs

Autographs may be sought before the game on either side of the dugouts in guest access areas up to 1st pitch.

Fans may not disrupt the ability of guests holding tickets to the seats nearest the dugouts from accessing/enjoying their seats.

Bag Policy

Clear single compartment tote bags (12” x 12” x 6” or smaller), clutch purses (12″ x 6″ x 2″ or smaller) and diaper bags when an infant is present are permitted to carry into the ballpark.

No backpacks or other bags are allowed.

Guests with required medical equipment (breast pumps, Insulin, epi-pens, oxygen and other medical devices) may be allowed to carry those items into the ballpark and will be subject to search.

Blankets

Blankets are allowed!

Camp Chairs

No camp chairs are allowed into the stadium.

Cameras

Guests are permitted to carry cameras into the ballpark, but oversized or hard-sided camera bags/tripods are NOT permitted.

Cashless

Going cashless has made for faster, safer, and more secure transactions. Credit and debit cards will be accepted at all concession stands and the  retail store. 

Fights/Disturbances

If you observe a fan or group of fans who are becoming loud or troublesome, please notify Staff or Security.

First Aid

See nearest Staff member for assistance. 

Foul Balls

Guests are welcome to keep any ball that is hit into the stands.

Guests should stay alert and watch for foul balls while the game is in play or during batting practices.

At no time should a foul ball or home run ball be thrown back onto the field.

Do NOT go into any restricted area to retrieve a foul ball. Violators will be subject to removal from the ballpark.

Any guest interfering with a ball in play is also subject to removal from the ballpark.

Gates Open

For games scheduled to start at 7:00 PM, fans will be welcomed in at 5:45 PM.

For games on Sunday that start at 5:45 PM, gates open at 4:30 PM.

Guest Code of Conduct

The Chili Peppers are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark where:

* Guests do not engage in any unruly behavior, including obscene gestures, derogatory, vulgar, biased or abusive language, including betting related speech and behavior, directed at guests, venue personnel, players, umpires, officials, or anyone else.

* Intervention with an impaired guest will be handled in a prompt, safe manner.

* The progress of the game will not be disrupted by guests’ actions or unauthorized persons on the playing field.

* Smoking or the use of any tobacco is not allowed inside the ballpark, including e-cigarettes.

* Guests will show their tickets when requested and sit only in their ticketed seat.

* No weapons of any kind will be allowed into the park.

Kids Zone 

All kids 14 and under are welcome to stop by the Kids Zone in left field to check out the attractions.

Lost Child

Report immediately to a representative at the Guest Services.

A guest services representative will contact security immediately.

We also ask that parents instruct children in advance if they should become separated to find a security officer, Staff member, or go to Guest Services.

Non-Permitted items

Weapons, backpacks, alcohol, soda, glass bottles, cans, hard or liquid containers of any type are not allowed to be carried into the ballpark.

Outside Food or Beverage

Outside food and beverages are not permitted in the ballpark. Exceptions may be made based on dietary needs or allergy restrictions if approved by security upon entry.

Parking

Public parking is available on streets and in a four-to-five-block area around the ballpark.

The Chili Peppers are not responsible for any acquired parking tickets given out by the City of Colonial Heights.

Profanity/Derogatory Language

Use of derogatory and/or betting-related language whether such language is directed at players, players’ family members, Club personnel, umpires, or other guests will not be tolerated.

Any guest using profanity, derogatory language or gestures will be asked to leave the ballpark.

Promotional Items

One giveaway item(s) will be distributed per eligible fan entering Shepard Stadium while supplies last.

An eligible fan must meet advertised age limits or other requirements.

Rain Policy

If a legal game is not played, this ticket can be exchanged for any remaining regular-season game (in the same calendar year) subject to availability.

A game is considered legal after 5 innings are played, except when the Chili Peppers are leading after 4 1⁄2 innings.

If the game is not rescheduled/resumed, refunds or credits will be as determined at the Chili Peppers discretion.

Re-Entry

Before exiting, get your hand stamped at any gate by a ticket taker for re-entry into the ballpark.

Restrooms

Men’s and women’s restrooms are located behind home plate.

Changing tables are available in all men’s and women’s restrooms.

Search Procedures

 All bags will be subject to search or will not be allowed into the ballpark.

Please see Bag Policy for approved carry-in sizes.

Security

Please contact any security guard or visit the Guest Services for assistance.

Shepherd Stadium security guards are located throughout the ballpark.

Smoking

The use of tobacco products including smokeless tobacco and e-cigarettes is prohibited in the ballpark and the ramps.

Violators are subject to removal from the ballpark.

Strollers

Guests are permitted to bring strollers and wagons into Shepard Stadium after they have been searched at the gates.

Smaller umbrella-style strollers may be folded to fit underneath the seats.

Throwing of Items

Throwing beer or other items will not be tolerated.

Offenders will be removed from the park and subject to fines and arrest.

Ticket Policy

Our minimum age for tickets is three years old – but if a child is under the age of three and requires his or her own seat, a ticket must be purchased.

Weather

Even if it’s wet – We always closely monitor the weather and do everything humanly possible in order to play games as they are scheduled.

9 times out of 10, we’re playing ball once the weather clears.

Best thing you can do is plan to be at the ballpark ready to rock, as we anticipate everything to start on time!
